Redundant blog ranking

Since last time Google modified their page-ranking algorithm bloggers have been searching for a relevant rank generator. Lots of popular blogs were severely “punished” and received low page ranks. The thirst for a new ranking system has theoretically been  quenched by  IzeaRanks with their proprietary RealRank.

I started using their ranking system on my personal blog and had some surprises. Even though many people worship IzeaRanks, i sincerely think it’s just another scam garnished by web 2.0 graphics. The only thing that makes me return to their site is the wonderful design and statistics implementation. Statistics you say? Izea tells me i have a 62 unique visitors/day average and a 172 visitors/day average. Well that’s about 30 to 40 % of the real statistics, provided by Google Analytics. My verdict is cruel and precise: IzeaRanks is just a bunch of online crock.

If you are in need of a stats generator use Google Analytics or AwStats (live stats). IzeaRank is by far useless, just like the Page Rank idea that Google has been fooling around with for a couple of years now.
