Firefox 3 is unstable
My favorite web-browser turned to another beta version. The fifth version is the closest one to the final product which should be the best browser out there but in close competition with Microsoft’s IE.
If you are a beta fan, you must know that they are highly unstable and can cause severe problems with other software. Firefox beta 5 seems to render badly but that isn’t it’s main flaw. Crashes are everywhere: Gmail, Google Maps, Ebay, Amazon and almost every page with Javascript or Ajax.
How about these numbers? They mean anything? Yes they do, they mean that it’s not time to switch to beta 5 and that Mozilla have still got lots to work on. I’m glad that they have their work cut out for them. [via]
